Call of Duty Online has been announced by Activision

Call of Duty Online has been announced by Activision.

The free-to-play shooter will release in China where it will be operated by internet service provider Tencent.

It will be funded through in-game transactions, allowing players to customise and enhance weapons, gear and perks.

So, Call of Duty on the go basically. Sounds like a good idea to be honest. Imagine if it was done with something like Halo?
