This Mass Effect 3 DLC comes with a whole new lineup of elite N7 forces to protect civilization along with 12 new modification and 11 new upgrades to your gear. Older missions also get a touch up with a new mission objective that randomly occurs during waves three, six, and 10.

The Earth content includes:

Seems like the guys from Bioware have taken couple of notes from 343inc... NOTE The Hard-light shield.
Along with all of that, players can risk it all in the new difficulty level, Platinum. As resorted, the DLC will come to you free of charge. With new characters, weapon mods, and maps all coming to you for nothing out of your pocket; there’s no reason not jump back into the fight July 17 and try to boost your galactic readiness once again.

Sexy No?

On top of that, BioWare’s Chris Priestly notes on Twitter that beginning today, all Mass Effect 3 Spectre Packs have a chance of containing an ultra-rare Prothean Particle Rifle, For now, the Earth content has only been confirmed for Xbox 360, but we’ve reached out to BioWare for additional details and to find out if it will hit PlayStation 3 and PC as well. Previous content packs including the Resurgence Pack and Rebellion Pack were available for all platforms and included new weapons, maps, consumables and characters.

Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut DLC - Refusal Ending

Halo 2 Anniversary

Ohhhh, yes. The latest reports are saying that Halo 2 Anniversary is reportedly in the works at 343 Industries. The studio is currently focusing most of its efforts on Halo 4, but also has a team dedicated to giving the Xbox classic the HD treatment.

The news comes via the latest issue of Official Xbox Magazine UK, which carries the following quote in its rumours section: "Following the success of remake Halo Anniversary, 343 Industries has now started development of Halo 2 Anniversary." Short but sweet.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary released last year, bringing - amongst other things - a glorious high def revamp and a remastered orchestral soundtrack with it. It was, in short, a bit special.

So look out for official confirmation on this, as and when it comes. It may not be the most surprising news, but boy it’s a good ‘un.

I want this now god Damnit...

Battlefield 3: Armored Kill

So DICE's uber Gameplay designer Niklas Fegraeus has spilled the beans on some new BF3 DLC...

And here is the link...

But if your too lazy to click a link then the whole story is here anyway...

DICE gameplay designer Niklas Fegraeus gives Battlefield 3 fans a deeper look into the upcoming Armored Kill expansion pack due out in September as he details some of the new vehicles and gives his two cents on the brand new game mode, Tank Superiority.

Being heavily focused on vehicular combat, Armored Kill will be introducing a number of new vehicles to the Battlefield 3 experience including tank destroyers, new ant-aircraft vehicles and the brand new AC-130 gunship. Fegraeus details these new additions in a recent Q&A session with GameSpot.

“The new tank destroyers carry a lot of firepower, while sacrificing armor for speed,” he explains. “This means they have the ability to bring the big guns to contested areas much quicker than the main battle tanks, providing your team with great mobility and area control.”

New additions to aerial and anti-air vehicles are also being made. Fegraeus continues, “the mobile artillery, on the other hand, are slow and poorly protected but, properly placed, can suppress entire bases with heavy shelling. There’s nothing better than a skilled artillery gunner to have on your side, softening up a base before moving in for the capture.”

Speaking of capturing bases, there is one base in particular that you’ll definitely want to be focusing all your attention on in most or all of the new maps. Taking control of the new AC-130 gunship can be a game changer and is also a completely new way to play Battlefield 3. “The AC130 gunship brings a completely new experience to Battlefield,” says Fegraeus. “If your team wins control over a specific base, it starts circling the battlefield. When doing this, your team can use it as a parachute spawn and also man the weapon positions. These range from heavy auto cannons to high caliber shells and anti-aircraft machine guns. A fully utilized AC130 can suppress and destroy ground targets with great efficiency, so the other team needs to quickly scramble their pilots and mobile AA to shoot it down.”

If dogfighting isn’t your thing, then you’ll definitely be interested in the brand new Tank Superiority game mode. “Tank Superiority is a vehicle focused mode where large number of heavy vehicles clash in order to control key areas,” explains Fegraeus. He also lets fans in on a few tips to master in order to dominate the battlefield while driving one of these war machines. “It covers vast areas, so tactical positioning and precise long range firing are two very important skills players need to deploy in order to win.”
While many of the new maps like Bandar Desert (a map that Fegreaus likens to Battlefield 1942′s El Alamein) will be extremely large in scale and will provide many open environments, there is still room for building to building, close quarter combat. “For example,” says Fegraeus, “on Bandar Desert, there is a whole town being constructed near the shore, and there’s always intense building to building combat taking place there. However, surrounding this built up area are vast deserts populated by artillery bases and supply lines that are key to controlling if you want to stop the enemy from getting the upper hand.”
So, what about motor-bikes, which are being added in Battlefield 3′s fifth expansion pack End Game? Fegraeus teases, “we are introducing motorcycles in our fifth expansion, End Game. These will of course be nimble and fast transport vehicles, but might offer something else as well.” When asked if players could perform tricks and stunts on these, Fegraues mentioned, “I don’t think I’ve seen a tank do a wheelie before jumping off a bridge!”

Lastly, Fegraeus is asked, “ Armored Kill isn’t out until September, almost a year since the game was released–why the long wait for this DLC?” He responds, “we are truly humbled by our fans’ response to Battlefield 3, it’s been amazing! So when we started thinking about how to provide players with DLC post launch, we wanted it to be something really special that fans would truly appreciate. That’s when we thought of doing “more than just maps” and instead give players a chance to enjoy something suited for their favorite Battlefield experience. And that’s how we committed to the themed expansions we have presented now. We are putting a tremendous amount of work into these, and we just hope that players will enjoy all that these expansion packs have to offer.”

Double Xp Event All Week in Battlefield 3? Why was I not Informed?

Double Xp Event All Week in Battlefield 3!!!

Battlefield 3 players had better get some games in this week as DICE has announced that the game will be enjoying a week long double XP event starting Monday, and will end on Wednesday for us non-Premium folks...

Lets Rock and Rock...

BioWare have now officially confirmed that Shepard doesn’t die!!!

Ok so the gods that be BioWare have finally confirmed, in a very heavy spoiler post on their forums, a vital plot point in Mass Effect 3‘s “Destroy or Red Ending” from the recently (And thankfully brilliant) released Extended Cut, quelling any rumors that have surfaced...

(You know about that hidden Reaper DLC right?)

Anyway,  for one last time, there are spoilers passed this point, so do not read on unless you really want to know!

...or if you feel the need to whine like a bitch that the ending was spoiled for you by this post!

Anyway the point in question is at the end of the “Destroy Ending” (Big red glowing one) just before the credits run, where Shepard is seen gasping for air just before it all fades to black (Thanks Sopranos!!!) and it is left unclear if he lives or dies. So now BioWare have now officially confirmed that Shepard doesn’t die.

Damn you Bioware....

So... that means that there is hope for future appearances by everyone’s favorite commander. BioWare’s Tully Ackland said the following on the game’s official forums:
"One of the goals for the Extended Cut, as part of addressing player feedback, was to provide more time with the love interest, and more opportunity for players to say goodbye to them and provide additional moments of connection between them. We did this in several ways"
And so on...
  • Shepard can now actually say goodbye to the love interest when they are split up at the conduit run.

  • When Shepard sees flashbacks of important characters during the final decision, the flashbacks are now variable based on your play-through – so your love interest can appear as one of the flashbacks, providing another moment of reflection between Shepard and that character.

  • A memorial scene was added, partly to show a close bond between Shepard and the love interest. The scene is variable, and if Shepard has a love interest in a given play through, it will be that character who places Shepard’s name on the memorial wall.

  • You may notice that in the “Shepard lives” ending, the love interest hesitates to place Shepard’s name on the wall, and instead looks up as though deep in thought. This is meant to suggest that the love interest is not ready to believe Shepard is dead, and the final scene reveals they are correct. As the Normandy lifts off, there is hope that the love interest and Shepard will again be together.
So all we have to do now is wait for some "Post Ending DLC"... Nice!!!

Happy Independence Day Everyone

Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut DLC - Female Stargazer

Half-Life 2: Episode 3

Half-Life 2: Episode 3 concept art has supposedly been leaked.

A gallery posted by Valve Time claims to contain concept images from the anticipated sequel.

Though the images were sent in by an anonymous source, it is believed that they may be legitimate dating back to 2008. Because of their age, it is possible that they do not indicate the current state of Half-Life 2: Episode 3 or Half-Life 3.

Brand New Halo 4 Details–10 New Weapons, 50 Episodic Missions, Plus More

Listen up folks, it’s time to put on your Master Chief helmet (or at least put that little one on your cat) and get excited, because a ton of new Halo 4 information has been revealed via a quiz on Microsoft’s ExpertZone website, including details on season one of Spartan Ops. (Wicked)...

The slides confirm that Halo 4 will include 10 new weapons. Two of these were revealed at E3 earlier this month, The Light Rifle is a Forerunner weapon carried by Promethean Knights, and the Scattershot, also a Forerunner weapon, is used for close-range combat.

Two new vehicles are also being added to the game, however their identity is being kept a secret for now. Also mentioned is ”improved support to create, organize and track groups,” could this hint at clan support? The game will include 10 multiplayer maps at launch, and DLC is expected to add more.

Halo 4‘s DLC TV episode-style Spartan Ops mode will contain 50 missions per season, five missions every week for a total of 10 weeks. Each block of missions will be introduced by a high quality cinematic, according to the quiz, and season one will be completely free. ”How many games give you free DLC for 10 weeks?” it asks, before stating that the missions combined offer up to 12 hours of either single-player or co-op gameplay. ”It’s like getting two campaigns with one game!”
