Radical Entertainment CLOSED DOWN?

Radical Entertainment, the Activision owned studio behind Prototype, The Simpsons Hit & Run and Scarface: The World Is Yours, has been closed.

The news was revealed on Twitter by Rob Bridgett, who served as senior audio director at the Vancouver, Canada based studio.

He posted, "RIP Radical Entertainment 1991-2012"

Radical was founded in 1991 as an independent studio and developed titles for THQ and Microsoft before being acquired Vivendi Games in 2005 and later Activision Blizzard.

For PC gamers, rest assured that the PC version of PROTOTYPE 2 is still going to launch on July 24th as planned.

SEGA ANNOUNCE SURPRISE ADDITION TO THE SONIC UNIVERSE

A sight that always warms my Heart
In a totally unexpected announcement, SEGA released information on an upcoming remake for the Sonic universe, Sonic Adventure 2. Announced at the 2012 Sonic Boom fan-fest, SEGA provided players with a very brief look at the new HD graphics as well as announcing that the game will be available on both Xbox Live and the Playstation Network. Sonic Adventure 2 is well-known for being the first game to introduce Sonic’s darker counterpart, Shadow the Hedgehog, but it also home to another fan favorite feature, the Chao’s!. That’s right, the Chao Garden will be making a return in the Sonic Adventure 2 remake, pleasing you pet loving fans with that difficult challenge of raising that perfect Shadow clone Chao once again, something I never actually managed to accomplish in the original. More information, including screenshots and a release date will be announced soon, keep an eye on the SEGA website for all the latest.
